Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored service for their events.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the C&B team, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of service and performance.
Conduct daily briefings to prepare the team for upcoming events and communicate specific requirements.
Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest service during events, addressing any issues promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
Monitor service quality and ensure all guests receive a warm and professional welcome.
Setup and Preparation: Oversee the setup of function rooms, ensuring that all arrangements meet client specifications and are executed to a high standard.
Ensure that all equipment, including audio-visual, is functioning properly before events commence.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the C&B areas before, during, and after events.
Reporting and Administration: Assist in maintaining accurate records of events, including attendance and feedback, to inform future improvements.
Collaborate with the management team to forecast and manage staffing levels based on event requirements.
Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the conferences and banqueting sector or hospitality industry is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Customer Service Orientation: Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
