We have multiple projects that we support, and we are looking to add to our team, we are interested in talking to you if you fit the criteria outlined below: Construction Project Manager Background Handling high profile projects with a large capital and expense budget. Manage numerous elements within the same projects or more than one project concurrently Experience in delivering capital projects and not just process improvement type projects Project Management experience should be from construction Project Management perspective Responsibilities Participate in the reviews of the detailed design prepared by the contractor. Work with the contractor design team to ensure construction follows the final design. Coordinate/manage Main Contractor (MC) RFIs. Coordinate review of MC Technical Submissions. Review & manage the Construction Schedule. Coordinate Risks/Issues to management. Ensure Main Contractor (MC) is effectively carrying out their PSDP & PSCS role. Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Participate in Whiteboard Meetings. Communicate project report weekly. Report into the Project Manager and provide them with all construction updates/issues in real-time. Monitor the project and escalate risks and issues to the appointed Project Manager. Develop and maintain a safety recording system - Kick-off meetings, Audits, Walkdowns, SPA, Permit requests. Develop and maintain a system for tracking safety records. Develop and maintain a system for tracking quality. Draft and share construction-related communications with the Project Manager. Chair construction-related meetings with contractors/stakeholders and issue minutes, etc. Work closely with QS to technically evaluate any change orders.
