Job role: Senior Health & Safety officer - Dublin Our client one of Irelands leading building contractors is looking to recruit a H&S Professional to work under the H&S Lead across multiple sites in Dublin.
Your role will be reporting directly to the H&S Lead while completing everyday Duties on site.
They promote Health & Safety as being a main priority within the company.
The successful candidate will have prior experience as a H&S officer and good knowledge around Health & Safety within the construction industry.
Day-to-day responsibilities: Manage emergency procedures, respond to health and safety-related complaints or issues; Keep a focus on health and safety within the business Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers Delivering Toolbox Talks and liaising with HSE, Fire Officers, Environmental Health Officers Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to Making changes to working practices making them safer and ensuring they comply with current legislation Skills and qualifications: Recognised H&S Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred) 3+ years in similar role Previous construction experience This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that wants to further their career in health and safety with great career progression opportunities.
