The Vhi Group Customer Office are seeking a full time permanent experienced Content Strategist to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our business goals and supports our digital transformation.
This role will focus on creating a unified content framework, managing knowledge assets, and ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
You will lead content governance and optimisation efforts, leveraging tools such as customer engagement and content management (such as Adobe & Mkt Cloud) to deliver an integrated customer experience.
By taking a user-centric approach, the successful candidate will enhance customer journeys, drive engagement, and improve operational efficiency while fostering cross-department collaboration to ensure cohesive content practices.
Role purpose: Define a Unified Content Strategy: Design and implement a content strategy that aligns with the companys business goals and digital transformation roadmap to meet the evolving needs of colleagues and customers.
Knowledge Management System Objectives: Define and align the knowledge management systems goals and objectives with business needs, facilitating easy access to information for employees, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting internal/external communication.
Taxonomy and Information Architecture: Lead the creation and maintenance of a clear and logical content taxonomy and categorisation framework, ensuring knowledge assets are well-organised, discoverable, and easy to navigate for both customers and internal teams.
Content Lifecycle and Governance:Establish content governance protocols, including guidelines for content creation, curation, approval, maintenance, accessibility (WCAG) and retirement of content.
Manage the content lifecycle to ensure that all materials are relevant, accurate, and up-to-date and comply with data privacy regulations (e.g.
GDPR).
User-Centric Approach: Utilise customer journey mapping to guide content creation, ensuring content is tailored to the specific needs, preferences, and behaviors of different user groups.
Omni channel Consistency and Integration: Oversee content delivery across multiple channels, ensuring that messaging remains consistent, whether delivered through web, email, mobile apps, or other platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with key stakeholders to align content strategy with broader organisational objectives.
Ensure a seamless content workflow between departments and provide expert guidance on content management practices.
Training and Support:Provide training and support in line with change management to internal teams on content best practices, ensuring that content is consistent, accurate, and aligned with the overall content strategy.
Key criteria Qualifications and experience BA Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
Proven experience in content strategy, digital content management, and Omni channel content delivery, with a strong understanding of platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Expertise in knowledge management systems, content taxonomy, and content governance frameworks.
Strong understanding of content lifecycle management, including creation, curation, distribution, and maintenance.
Experience in performance measurement, data analytics, and optimisation of content strategies.
Knowledge of GDPR and content compliance standards Interpersonal skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
