Continuos Improvement Green Belt Cork, Ireland | Kontraktlogistik | Vollzeit | req119656 As an expert in Lean methodologies you will contribute to the implementation of the internal continuous improvement strategy (PS: Kuehne + Nagel Production System) for our Contract Logistics site in Cork in alignment with the local management teams.
Your Role As an expert in Lean methodologies, your responsibilities include leading projects, training colleagues, deploying KN Excellence standards, and facilitating Value Stream Analysis events.
Your Responsibilities Lead Production System deployment using the KNExcellence maturity model as a roadmap for long-term improvement.
Act as the Branch expert on complex Production System tools to enhance productivity and service levels beyond current capabilities.
Provide training, mentorship, and assessments to ensure teams are equipped to execute projects independently and maintain KNExcellence standards.
Deploy and facilitate training materials, workshops, and meetings to increase operational knowledge and performance.
Identify and share best practices across sites to enhance the development of Production System tools.
Ensure Site leadership teams are trained to support the Production System, including advanced Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
Implement continuous improvement techniques like SQCDP boards, 5S, visual management, and VSM to standardize processes.
Collaborate with Operations to identify improvement opportunities and convert them into actionable Lean projects.
Your Skills and Experiences Desirable Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification with training capabilities for White and Yellow Belts.
2+ years of Continuous Improvement experience in operational environments (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, supply chain).
Leadership in Continuous Improvement initiatives, including workshops, DDVSA, and Kaizen events.
Project management and IT skills, including data analysis, presentations, and A3 creation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop practical solutions.
Self-driven and effective team player, with the ability to work independently and across multiple sites.
Training and coaching experience across various operational levels, with strong communication and engagement skills.
Knowledge of Contract Logistics and supply chain processes, with the ability to translate high-level targets into operational objectives.
Presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences from the shop floor to the executive level.
Desirable skills: Minitab software knowledge, financial awareness (P&L experience), and Green Belt certification or higher.
