Our client, a leading Multinational Semiconductor Company, requires a Contract FPGA/ASIC Design Software Verification Engineer for an 11-month daily rate role based in West Dublin, Ireland.

Role:

The Design Software Verification team plays a pivotal role in verifying the EDA tool chain. They are currently seeking a talented engineer to join our Profiling, Debug, and Analysis tools team in Dublin.
This will involve creating test designs that range from small unit tests to full systems addressing customer markets such as Automotive (ADAS) and 5G Telecommunications.
This position requires solid FPGA and Embedded design knowledge, coupled with excellent software testing skills. You should possess the creativity to envision the myriad ways our software can be used, with the aim of uncovering software bugs. The ability to learn quickly is essential, as this role will require you to adapt your skills to evolving technologies as AMD expands its EDA portfolio in the cloud and AI compute space.

Responsibilities: Development of design applicationsCollaborating closely with multiple teams to understand new software featuresDevelopment of scripts to automate the execution of test suitesUncovering and reporting software defects to maintain the highest levels of software quality Experience: 2-5 years of experience in verification or design roles for ASIC or FPGAExperience in writing software or scriptsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills Education: Honours Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related courses.
