Contracts Manager

This role is working across 1-3 projects in the Midlands region, one which has already commenced and the other 2 to start next year. All of these projects are public works, specifically working on school projects with a couple of hospital projects in the pipeline, so good contracts manager experience working on public works would be a massive bonus. These projects are ranging between €5 - €10 million. The team and people you will be working alongside are all very experienced in both their profession and their position within the company so there will be little micro-managing and a lot of responsibilities taken off your hands if need be. With recent influx of growth into the East of Ireland opportunities and growth within the company are coming and if that is what you're looking for this is the place to be.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of multiple projects, from planning and procurement through to execution and completion.Contract Oversight: Manage all contract requirements, including negotiations, terms and conditions, risk assessment, and contract compliance.Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, implementing cost-control measures to meet financial targets.Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress by coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.Quality Assurance: Enforce Glenman's quality standards, ensuring all work complies with relevant specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices.Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety across all sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and practices.Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations regarding project milestones and deliverables.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management in Ireland.In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.Strong budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the Midlands region.Salary: €6,000 to €77,500 Per Annum
