Contracts Manager (Road Construction)

INFORM3 RECRUITMENT Contracts Manager Location: Meath/Dublin Sector: Civil Inform3 are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager for a busy civils contractor who specialises in road construction and maintenance for projects across all of Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to join an experienced team, who is ambitious and eager to lead a team from the front to succession.
Contracts Manager Responsibilities: Report regularly to the Directors Coordinate and manage each project ensuring that requirements and deadlines are achieved Manage Project Managers and Site Management teams Delegate work appropriately through effective communication Select sub-contractor teams Attend each project regularly, checking on progress and quality Gather regular reports from Site Management Conduct regular meetings with Site Management Be the point of contact for the Client making sure that all their requirements are exceeded Be the point of contact for emergency situations Ensure that every site member is adhered to a strict code of health & safety Attend Senior Management meetings Contracts Manager Requirements: Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree 5 years plus experience (Asphalt/road maintenance) Operational and managerial experience Good negation skills Flexible Able to multi-task and work to deadlines Able to work individually and manage several civil teams Extremely motivated and hardworking Expert analytical and decision-making skills Technical and practical knowledge of the Civil Engineering industry Full understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and regulation Confident in the use of Microsoft Office Full Driving License The client works for top, blue-chip clients & have high expectation of staff to be highly motivated and results driven.
