They supply products for the construction, pallet wood, and fencing industries, and also manufacture timber frame homes and engineered roof trusses for the house building sector.

As they prepare for continued growth, they are looking to expand their team by appointing a Contracts Manager within their timber frame division.
Role: We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager with timber experience to join a growing timber frame business.
This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to develop extensive experience in a fast-growing industry.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction, timber frame projects, including quality control procedures and health and safety requirements on-site, and will be self-motivated with strong IT skills.
Most of the work will be in and around Dublin, and the successful applicant will work closely with the Contracts Manager and site supervisors, receiving training, guidance, and support to excel in the role.
Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites across Dublin and surrounding areas.
* Ensure high standards of work are maintained throughout the installation process.
* Record and report any site issues as part of the quality control and certification process.
* Manage variations and day works in line with company procedures.
* Conduct weekly toolbox talks and other site tasks with teams.
* Act as the key contact between the site, design, and manufacturing teams, ensuring all work complies with relevant building regulations.
* Assist in managing the erecting teams on-site.
* Maintain detailed site diaries and photographic reports to support sign-off documentation.
* Develop a strong knowledge of the timber frame industry and suggest improvements for long-term quality.
* Maintain records of meetings and correspondence with the site team and clients.
* Foster positive relationships between the site team, clients, and third parties.
* Ensure company materials and equipment on-site are well maintained.
* Create realistic schedules and plans for sites to share with the design and production teams.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site, actively promoting a safe working environment.
* Drive efficiencies and standardization in practices and reporting.
