Control Room Operator ( Agriculture )

FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Control Room Operator on behalf of a leading animal nutrition business.
This is a full-time permanent role with a mix of day and evening shifts.

In that period, they have become a market leader in animal nutrition by maintaining high quality standards , trace-ability and environmental sustainability.
This role is located 15km north of Cork City ( Upper Glanmire ) Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the following Ensure accurate weighting of raw materials.
Mixing of raw materials when required using automated system.
Using a computerised system to add raw materials at the different stages in the Production process.
Supporting the Production Manager on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of Production.
Escalating mechanical breakdowns to fitters when required.
Working as part of a team of 3.
Experience required Previous experience working in a control room environment / animal feed processing a distinct advantage.
Ability to work as part of a team and prioritise work.
Strong PC skills and previous experience of using computerised system previously.
Working hours You will work a rotating weekly shift of day and evening.
Day shift Monday to Friday 8.00 to 16.30.
Evening shift of 16.30 to Midnight.
Remuneration Starting salary of €31,000 moving to €36,500 after 3-month probation is passed.
The evening shift also includes an additional payment of €100 / week Bi annual bonus of €750 paid in 2 instalments.
