Key job responsibilitiesThe Controls System Development Engineer is responsible for PLC programming, technical writing tasks, electrical schematic interpretation to IO lists, parts BOM creation, full system development, scaling system design (operational performance & scalability), OT networking, OS configuration, operational excellence, as well as performing in depth root cause analysis of current AWS developed mechanical automation systems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, RubyBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent3 years of experience in PLC development leveraging IEC-61131 Structured Text and Ladder LogicPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or JavaExperience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience3 years of Data Center Design, Commissioning or Construction ExperiencePosted: September 12, 2024 (Updated 3 days ago)
