The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible.
The working hours will be 24 hours over 4 days per week.
Roles and Responsibilities: In general terms, the responsibilities will include covering the Cancer Trials Unit, but not limited to: Patient Care: Pre eligibility case review Patient Visits: Consent, Screening, On treatment visits, unscheduled visits, EOT visits Clinical care & management of toxicity (refer to protocol) Protocol Adherence: Complete eligibility review/sign off, and record cancer staging as per protocol specification AEs/SAEs assess & manage as per protocol.
Document grade, causality, source documentation for reporting Laboratory Assessment: review, grade and manage as per protocol Clinical patient assessment and determine protocol requirements in order to proceed with treatment/defer treatment/dose reduce/omit dose/discontinue Support nurses/data managers in communicating with sponsor/answering eCRF queries Education to staff with in the Unit Clinical Trial Administration: Attend disease portfolio meetings Attend SIV Review protocols of potential trials and complete protocol review checklist Attend Cancer Trial Ireland DSSG meetings.
This post will include clinical activities that will involve patients care in outpatient setting: outpatient clinic (twice a week, including Late effects clinic) and for patients attending the day ward (once a week).
