We're hiring: The Business Post is seeking a corporate sales specialistCorporate sales specialist focused on generating and maintaining recurring revenue via acquisition of both individual and corporate subscriptions.
The Business Post Group is a diversified media group with a strong technology, data, digital and experience-driven portfolio of businesses. The flagship brand of the Business Post sits at the centre of the group and is now a seven-day a week always-on media platform on businesspost.ie leading the must-have business, politics, economics and current affairs commentary, analysis and opinion in Ireland.
The Business Post wishes to recruit a corporate sales specialist. Reporting into the CEO, the primary remit of the role is to generate and maintain recurring revenue via acquisition of both individual and corporate subscriptions and developing long-standing professional relationships.
Through proactively generating leads & networking, the successful candidate will act as a Brand Ambassador, working alongside our Executive Team to close deals and be the initial Corporate Subscriber point of contact.

Location: Dublin, Ireland
The role will involve:Ownership of subscription acquisition targets.Ownership of corporate subscription acquisition pipeline; including building and maintaining an on-going potential leads database in CRM.Working closely with the Executive Team on both 'out of the box' and bespoke Corporate Subscription Package Development.Proactively identifying potential leads via proactive outreach by emails/cold call.Acquire new Members by communicating with them by phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.Manage the administration of corporate subscriptions.Ensuring smooth onboarding of corporate clients/members.Supporting others team members for all sales & marketing-related matters when required.Working closely with the Executive Team to share contacts and add value to the wider suite of Business Post products.Communicating leads and opportunities within Business Post, which will benefit other areas of the organisation.Promoting the premium brand positioning of Business Post on all appropriate occasions, especially externally, selectively ensuring that focus is always maintained on the target market.Investigating innovative new ways to build and promote the company brand.Responsible for delegate billing supported by finance function.The successful candidate will have:A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, management, sales or a related field is preferable.At least three years' experience working in a corporate sales / relationship management capacity for executives, senior executives, C-Suite Professionals, large corporates, and VIPs.Industry background in any of the following sectors/areas: Media, Financial Services Sales, Professional Personal Services Sales, Recruitment, Luxury Travel & Leisure, Lifestyle and Hospitality.Good attention to detail and communication skills.Great critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task effectively.A self-starter who can work on own initiative and take responsibility for their work.Strong administrative and organisational skills.Pleasant interpersonal and excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).Can work proactively and independently but can also take instruction.To apply, please send a CV and cover letter to Gillian Nelis, managing editor, at ****** by Friday December 15.
