The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of public sector projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for public sector projects.Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.Manage and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and review tender documents and contracts.Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.Provide advice on procurement strategy and contractual matters.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress and financial status.Key Requirements:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Professional membership with RICS or working towards it.Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the public sector.Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Excel and industry-standard estimation tools.What's On Offer:A competitive salary package, commensurate with experience.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.The chance to work on impactful public sector projects.A supportive and collaborative working environment.Interviews have already commenced so do not hesitate to apply.
