The Cost Manager provides financial and strategic support to key initiatives and activities under the Customer Function. The expectation is the person would be agile in providing financial support across operational areas of brand & marketing, Primark Cares, Innovation & Insights teams, managing each budget in line with Primark's financial accounting & reporting guidelines.

Influence key stakeholders and customers to achieve desired financial outcomes ensuring we are within budget parameters.Collaborate with various stakeholders within Finance, Customer & Brand & Digital Marketing, to manage a budget of £85+m across multiple currencies.Own the end-to-end budget submission to Finance each FY, ensuring all contributors are presenting realistic budget asks and supporting on final budget roll up.Regularly review spend against forecast in line with Primark's accounting calendar, providing key justification.Be responsible for all submissions to the Project Spend Forum.What you'll bring:

The selected candidate will have over 6+ years experience handling significant budget amounts in a global retailer or similar.Proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders within a strategic, commercial context.Good communication skills. Ability to structure and present a compelling story and inform senior stakeholders.High level of commercial and financial expertise with the ability to formulate and clearly communicate analysis, insight and recommendations for future strategies.Has worked in a fast-paced finance team, preferable in retail/FMCG.Does this sound like you?
