ASSET FINANCE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER My client is seeking an Asset Finance Business Development Manager to join their Motor Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with dealer partners in the Cork region, selling motor finance products.
This role requires expertise in structured sales processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet commercial and performance targets.
Our client has a very strong book of existing clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Relationship Management Maximize relationships with dealer partners to achieve mutual business goals.
Meet sales and revenue targets by growing and maintaining dealer networks.
Manage dealer expectations and ensure engagement through regular updates and communication.
Support dealer partners in achieving their business objectives.
Identify risks to revenue and take action to mitigate.
Educate dealers on loan acceptance criteria and effective processing.
Territory Management Identify new business opportunities through market analysis.
Build and manage a pipeline of prospects to meet sales targets.
Develop and execute strategy plans for onboarding new dealers.
Leverage networking opportunities and present finance products to dealers.
Represent My Client as a brand ambassador in all interactions.
Data & Insight Record accurate dealer interaction data in Salesforce.
Use market intelligence to influence product, promotion, and pricing strategies.
Present dealer business insights using data to support growth plans.
Understand portfolio performance to plan strategies for acquisition and retention.
Regulatory, Risk & Compliance Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Ensure full compliance with consumer credit and data protection regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: Essential: Proven experience in Account Management within a field-based role managing a geographic territory.
Experience with structured sales processes and target-driven environments.
Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Desirable: Experience in the motor/automotive industry.
Knowledge of compliance regulations (AML, CCD, CCA).
Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
Familiarity with advanced selling methodologies within structured sales processes.
