Job Title: Crane Driver Location: HQ Dungannon, Site based in Galway Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience (Can offer on-site training) Accommodation provided *Previous experience operating heavy machinery would be advantageous* The Role: We are looking for a Crane Driver experienced or willing to learn, to join our client's team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in the success of our construction projects by safely operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials.
You will collaborate closely with site teams to ensure all lifting operations are executed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities: Operate cranes (mobile, tower, or overhead, depending on requirements) to lift and transport materials on construction sites.
Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure the crane is in safe working condition.
Safely position loads according to project specifications and site plans.
Collaborate with riggers, signalers, and site managers to ensure precise and safe operations.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures, including daily maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
Maintain accurate records of crane operations and lifting activities.
Valid crane operator certification (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent).
Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to lifting operations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license (preferred, depending on crane type).
