Crane Operator

I am delighted to be assisting my client, a state-owned company in Limerick in recruiting a Crane Operator to join their team.
My client oversees crucial terminal operations, warehousing, and distribution networks, ensuring the safe passage of maritime traffic and port activities for vessels.
Due to significant growth my client have invested in new port handling equipment and are now seeking a skilled and motivated Crane Operator to join their team.
The Position… Permanent Position Strong salary and pension package, Annualised hours work pattern - working days, evenings and night shifts Responsibilities: (A Snapshot…) Driving and operating Harbour Mobile and Crawler cranes employed in cargo loading/ unloading on or off ships and / or landside lifting operations Safe use of Port Operations associated equipment such as forklifts, hoppers and vehicles as required.
Acting as Banksman / Signaller as required.
Compliance with all Safety Regulations and Company Safety Policies Requirements: Significant experience of operating large cranes, ideally in a dynamic environment such as a marine location or a busy construction site Availability to work out of hours on a Scheduled Roster basis Current valid full EU Driving License and the ability to work as part of a small diverse team are essential Current Safe Pass and relevant Crane tickets will be required to perform the role but training and certification will be provided where these are out-of-date Next Steps: APPLY NOW!
