TJ O'Mahony Oranmore,  Deerpark, Deerpark Industrial Estate, Co. Galway, H91 E7C3, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a Permanent, Part-time only ,  Credit Control Assistant ( Accounts Receivable ) to join our Team.
Job Purpose:  The position will report to the Senior Credit Controller, liaising closely with the Finance and Sales teams as part of an effective and robust credit control team.
This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure the smooth running of customer accounts.
NOTE: This is a part-Time position Duties and Responsibilities: The day-to-day duties are varied and will evolve with the growth of the business.
Key aspects of the role are:        A key member of the Group's Credit Control team, with specific responsibility for its Branches in the West of Ireland.
       Cash management and overseeing Branch compliance with daily cash / till controls.
       Ensuring that a proactive and progressive approach is taken towards debt collection.
       Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing the appropriateness of customers' credit terms.
       Maintaining accurate records and checking the posting of transactions to the Remedy accounting system.
       Administering the end-of-month and end-of-year processes.
       Any ad hoc duties in accordance with the running of the business.
Skills and Requirements:        The candidate should be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
Ideally, this should include experience of working in a Credit Control / Cash Management role.
       Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
       Proficient with Excel with good IT and communication skills.
       Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
