Job Summary: We are looking for a Credit Control Officer to join our team at Core Credit Union Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining financial records, and providing support to our members.
Responsibilities: Perform credit control functions such as reviewing accounts, collecting payments, and making arrangements for payment plans.Respond to member inquiries regarding their accounts, providing information on account balances, payment schedules, and other related matters.Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for members, including account balances, payment history, and other relevant information.Assist in the preparation of reports related to credit control, delinquency reports, and other related documents.Provide support to other credit union staff as needed.Dealing with MABS, Insolvencies, bankruptcies, and reschedules.CCR reports and inquiries.Reviewing overdrafts, direct debits, and current account tolerance.Requirements: Previous experience in credit control, accounting, or a related field is desirable but not essential.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.If you are interested in this position, please submit/upload your resume and cover letter to our HR department.
