About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Credit Unions Consultancy Services Team. In the role, the successful candidate will:
Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.Assist Credit Union Investment Managers.Prepare investment proposals in conjunction with the Investment Managers to deliver top quality reports and analysis to credit union sales.Provide assistance with managing advisory client portfolios in conjunction with agreed client mandates and IC guidance.Engage directly with clients on all aspects of portfolio management.Conduct significant portfolio analysis with a strong focus on regulatory limits and prescribed asset allocations.Support Investment Managers in preparation for client meetings and attend meetings when required.Assist in updating credit union Investment Policies.Provide cover for Investment Managers when unavailable.Review existing client relationships to evaluate potential.Provide support as required in relation to projects for the CUCS team.Collect data on Credit Union annual accounts and apply a Forecast Accounting model when required.Provide administrative support to Senior IMs and Head of Credit Unions as required.Implement client instructions for trade.Collaborate on preparation of new business tender proposals.About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
Third level qualification.QFA or working towards completion.A high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Demonstrable knowledge of investments.Keen eye for detail and interest in investment processes.Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of the Credit Union sector is desirable.Strong administration skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Strong numerical skills and experience of working to tight deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills.A high level of initiative and enthusiasm with the ability to identify opportunities within the market.A strong client focus to ensure effective service delivery.A strong commitment to personal development.What we offer We offer a range of benefits and experiences to support your professional and personal growth, whatever your career stage.
