Field Service Technician Location: Nationwide (You can be based anywhere in Ireland; company office in Citywest, Dublin) Benefits: Competitive salary, benefits package, and company van About the Role We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team.
You will deliver technical support services to our customers, ensuring machinery is installed, serviced, repaired, and upgraded to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities Installation, service, repair, and overhaul of machinery.
Upgrading, modifying, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.
Providing customer training and technical guidance.
Reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic drawings.
Ensuring timely and professional service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience Completed a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
Experience in the service/maintenance industry, ideally with packaging machinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude and detailed electrical fault-finding skills.
Knowledge of IPC, PC, MC controls, Servo and AC drives.
Experience in robotic systems or thermoforming is highly advantageous (training provided).
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle high-pressure situations.
