We are seeking a Customer Service and Purchasing Administrator for our client, an Industrial Maintenance and Repair Provider. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be a key player in handling inquiries related to the company's extensive range of products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service: Provide accurate quotes from a comprehensive parts/products catalog to ensure efficient customer operations.Resolve daily inquiries and occasionally attend the customer site.Process and manage customer orders from initial inquiry to delivery.Fully support requests from the Operations Manager.Deliver a consistent high level of customer service.Purchasing: Source and collect parts from local suppliers.Negotiate with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.Ensure purchase orders are loaded onto the site systems and expedite goods, materials, and services to meet delivery requirements.Inventory: Maintain stock levels of fast-moving items around the customer's site.Manage inventory data within ERP systems.Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment. Others: Liaise with Product Category Owners.Create and maintain efficient management reports.Assist in maintaining Health & Safety standards.Contribute to continuous improvement processes.Handle any other administrative tasks required by the Operations Manager. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Good product range knowledge for MRO and engineering consumables.Knowledge of the stock management systems.Sales and customer relationship development skills.Good negotiating and purchasing skills.Good communication skills; sound literacy and numerical aptitude.Methodical and well-organised, with the ability to work well as part of a team within a fast-moving environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel/IT literate.Good attention to detail. It is a two years contract in Askeaton, Co. Limerick.
