We are currently seeking applications from interested graduates to join our Cybersecurity Graduate Development Programme, commencing September 2025.
The Opportunity The Cybersecurity team is part of Advisory and Digital Services and helps to improve the resilience of a client's digital assets including systems, networks, and data to manage evolving threats and risks while using the latest risk management, compliance and consulting skills and tools to advise our clients to ensure their assets are always at their most effective and efficient for their customers.
As a Graduate in our Cybersecurity team at Arup, you will: Be supporting the delivery of effective oversight and assurance programmes to identify, manage and mitigate cyber risk.Work on projects to identify and understand their cybersecurity risk.Carry out research and investigation for internal and external clients in areas such as information security, data protection, Governance, Risk and Compliance.Provide assistance to senior team members in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments.Does this role inspire you? We're looking for graduates who are currently pursuing a Level 8 or above qualification in a relevant discipline, including but not limited to:
Electronic and Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science and Machine Learning, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Management and Analytics, Cyber Security.We also value:
A demonstrated interest in one of the disciplines described above.Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines as projects will be time-bound.Preferable to have a security-related certification from any of the following organizations: GIAC, ISC(2), ISACA, ISA, CompTIA, EC-Council, Offensive Security, PMI, Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to apply learning and skills to a wide variety of projects.Strong report-writing and general communication skills.Solid planning, analytical and organization skills.Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.Ability to engage with clients and partners in the development of project requirements.Projects As a part of the Cyber Security team in Arup you would be given the opportunity to work on a wide scope of projects.
