Job OverviewThe role of Cycle Counter / Inventory Coordinator within TE Medical Galway reports to the Logistics Manager and will support operations by completing tasks linked to the management of inventory across the plant in both WIP and static locations. They will ensure compliance to inventory management processes and ensure timely and accurate completion of all approved inventory adjustments arising from our continuous or periodic counting schedule.
Job ResponsibilitiesSME (Subject Matter Expert) on Inventory Management & SAP related processes."Go To" person on site for SAP / Inventory Management issues.Training employees on SAP and cycle counting techniques.Site liaison to the TEIS Team.Embed existing Inventory Management & Cycle Count processes.Manage performance data – Count schedule adherence and Count Performance.Issue identification – Root Cause Analysis & resolution.Train Staff across the organization in the Inventory Management Processes.Manage MRB Process in broadest sense – Reject, Obsolescence, Damaged Inventory.Additional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in NPI Process – Optimise for Warehouse / Production.Document / update all relevant Documentation – SOPS, Work Instructions.Lead Annual physical inventory and implement cycle counting process to eliminate the need for yearly PI.Develop the processes and methods for Inventory Management.Close liaison with key functional areas – Finance / Production / Planning / Quality.Manage and maintain 999 Bin in SAP – Re: review, housekeeping.Capacity Analysis facilities due to volume / mix changes.Scenario Analysis for Inventory.Identify continuous improvement opportunities in Inventory Management and implement lean principles where appropriate.Identify and recommend system / process changes to management.Maintain the system approval for write on / write processes with requisite approval levels.Identify Process Gaps / System gaps / Material gaps and propose solutions – actions to negate the identified issues.What your background should look like:Strong system knowledge – ERP / SAP and Microsoft Office.Understanding of Site Inventory processes in Production & Warehouse.Understanding of site manufacturing processes.Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.Ability to deliver training / communication sessions to staff.Attention to detail, delivery and follow through are a pre-requisite of the role.Business Acumen – understand the impact of changes planned / proposed and represent the impact to Management via Presentations, analysis And or reports.Understand Lean Principles and identify opportunities for cost savings.CompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork.
