Identifying relevant standards and codes of practice to be used for the project.Working with designers to create compliance while retaining their vision for the project.Creating accessible building strategiesPreparing and lodging Disability Access Certificate ApplicationsAssisting the design team with technical queries throughout their design and tendering stagesAssisting the design and construction team with technical queries and on-site inspections, benchmarks and monitoring provision of an access audit upon completion of the works to ensure compliance with Part M.Marking up architectural drawingsWriting reportsMeetings & Workshops (on Microsoft Teams or Zoom)Liaising with clients, designers, architects, project managers, the local authority building control officers, assigned certifiers, mechanical and electrical engineers, landscape architects, interior designers, contractors, sub-contractors etc.Issuing mark-ups / checklists / compliance documents by emailSite InspectionsDaily brainstorming and problem solving with the other members of the "DAC Team".Creating solutions, thinking outside of the box, thinking of new ways to impress and please our clientsRequirementsAn Architectural/Technical backgroundRelevant qualificationFire/DAC knowledge is necessary and PSDP experience would be beneficialAbility to interpret the Engineers instructions and use initiative where necessary and carry out mark-ups to the highest standard.PackageSalary €30k - €45k negotiable based on experienceCompany benefits.
