Join our client's Purchasing team as a Data Analyst, based in Limerick. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Data Analyst will collaborate closely with Finance, off-site Account Managers, and inventory Planners. This role is pivotal in providing accurate and timely data analysis to support various teams, including Business, Sales, Procurement, and Accounts.
Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis: Conducting thorough data analysis and research to provide valuable insights from various raw data sources.
Performance Evaluation: Evaluating website or intranet performance and designing processes for measurement, tracking, reporting, and analyzing traffic and user experience.
Critical Indicator Extraction: Identifying and extracting critical indicators from complex data sets and interpreting them within a business context.
Client Understanding: Understanding clients' information needs, business objectives, and market sectors to devise appropriate data analysis strategies.
Reporting: Generating intuitive reports to enhance client relationships and solidify our client's position as a strategic partner.
Team Management: Line management of other analytics staff to ensure efficient operations.
Adherence to Standards: Ensuring adherence to individual procedures and processes, including compliance with ISO standards.
Key Requirements: A third-level qualification in Finance or Purchasing-related subject is essential
Several years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
Experience with people management and a strong teamwork background is very advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to a very high standard is essential.
Proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.
Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
Ability to work with detailed information in a structured fashion.
Understanding of Health & Safety issues.
