As part of our Data Analytics and AI team, the AI Platform Architect role is pivotal in enabling our clients to derive significant value from their information assets. Through collaboration and domain expertise, our team embeds innovative data analytics solutions into existing business areas, transforming data into strategic assets. We are looking for an AI Platform Architect specialist who is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive business outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities Leading diverse teams with varying skillsets, who use different Data, Analytics and AI technologies.Creating a positive learning culture and coaching junior members of the team sharing best practices, industry trends, and technical knowledge.Engaging with clients to understand their business requirements, data needs, and technical objectives, and developing data architecture strategies that align with their goals.Leading the design and implementation of data artefacts, including data modelling, data integration, data storage, and data governance.Implementing data management concepts (Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Testing).Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.Conducting assessments of existing data architectures, identifying areas of improvement, and recommending remediation plans.Developing data migration strategies and overseeing execution, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on data architecture, governance, quality, and security matters.To qualify for the role, you must have: Strong academic record including a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience, 5+ years as a Data Architect, Data Solutions Architect, or similar role in a consulting environment.Strong expertise in data modelling, database design, and SQL, with experience in multiple database platforms.Extensive knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse design.Experience with platforms like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure Synapse.Ability to align AI strategies with business goals and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.Proficiency in managing AI projects using agile methodologies and project management frameworks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent client-facing skills and strong leadership abilities.What we look for: Project management skills: The ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying informed about the latest industry trends.Collaboration: The ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Communication: The skill to effectively communicate complex analytical findings.What working at EY offers: We offer a competitive remuneration package.
