We are now recruiting for a Data Analytics Support Engineer for a permanent role in our Dublin Office. JOB PURPOSE The Data Analytics Support Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of our data platform subscriptions and its infrastructure. The data engineer will also be involved in the end-to-end design and creation of pipelines in our data platform. Additionally, there will also be exposure to support, maintain and develop within our Power BI (PBI) models and reports. They will work closely with the Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to ensure new business requirements are delivered and existing solutions are monitored and supported.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the Delivery and Business Intelligence teams on supporting the solutions and providing business requirements output. Monitor data pipelines, data flows and PBI models to ensure all processes are completed as expected. Build data pipelines and outputs using modern Azure technologies. Provide data to end users and the Business Intelligence team who use PBI and API Apps while implementing appropriate scheduling and data governance. Adhere to overall data architecture and guiding principles. Manage access control and security of the data platform. Support the documentation of the data objects and lineage in the data warehouse, the related business processes, and business use cases. Other tasks as required and directed by your line manager. Skills & Experience Data Engineering knowledge A minimum of 2-3 years of Azure Data Engineering experience BI requirements / use cases Data Analysis and Quality Knowledge of Data Modelling principles Data Warehousing ETL/Pipelines development Technical documentation Problem solving Knowledge and hands-on experience with proven data architecture patterns and best practices Capable of balancing and adhering to guiding principles and being pragmatic Focused on high value, low complexity solutions. Capable of balancing design between out of the box functionalities vs necessary customization Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) DevOps Deployments, branching Microsoft technical expertise (experience and certifications) of the latest and most important Microsoft BI technology, like: Databricks (Desirable) Azure SQL (Desirable) Azure Data Lake (Desirable) Fabric Azure Analysis Services Power BI Power Platform Including hands-on development experience Your Profile You are a highly motivated, delivery focused individual with superb interpersonal skills and a passion for excellence. You have a positive outlook, a can-do attitude and thrive on working in a multi-cultural team environment. You have relevant Microsoft certifications, such as DP-200, DP-201, DP-203, DP-600. DA-100 or other related certifications/exams desirable. You should have 2+ years experience in Azure Data Engineering.
