In this role, you will lead Data Engineering efforts to drive automation for the Amazon Ads organization.
You will be part of the data engineering team that will envision, build, and deliver high-performance, fault-tolerant data pipelines.
As a Data Engineer, you will be working with cross-functional partners from Science, Product, SDEs, Operations, and leadership to translate raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders, empowering them to make data-driven decisions.
Key job responsibilities: Design and deliver big data architectures for experimental and production consumption between scientists and software engineering.Develop the end-to-end automation of data pipelines, making datasets readily consumable by science and engineering teams.Create automated alarming and dashboards to monitor data integrity.Collaborate with internal and external partners to translate business inquiries into an analytical framework using BI tools.Support designing and analyzing statistical tests (e.g., A/B tests) and applying statistical methods to inform data-driven decisions.Act as the subject matter expert for the data structure and usage.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of data engineering experience.Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.Experience with SQL.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
