You willWork with other engineers in the company to design, build, and produce data-intensive applications and pipelinesBuild new pipelines and adapt existing ones to accommodate changes in data formats and new requirementsExtract data from external sources, clean the data, run jobs with this data, and verify the resultsDiagnose production issuesModify SQL database schemas and assist with the design and implementationCollaborate with the DevOps team to address ongoing issues related to resources, components, and environment setupImprove data engineering standards, tooling, and processesYou may be a fit for this role if youHave 3+ years hands-on software engineering experience (in Python, Java is a nice have)Have experience with data analysis and you are interested in Data Engineering and DevOps topicsEnjoy and have experience wrangling data and designing and building data pipelines to power reporting and analytics applicationsUsed some of the following tools:Pandas, SnowflakeAWSAWS Athena, AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, AWS LambdaRelational databases, SQL, AWS Wrangler libraries, PandasCloudWatch, IAM, Lake FormationHave worked with the Linux command lineHave worked on teams that have shipped and operated critical software systemsAre a great communicator in English - both written and spokenWhat's in it for you?Remote-first approach with many team-building activities.
