Data Manager - Grade V

Applications are invited for a temporary position (specified purpose contract) of Data Manager - Grade V Officer of St Vincents University Hospital (Cancer Directorate Data and MDT).
This post will primarily be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of the components of the Service area they are allocated to. The post holder will be embedded within a Clinical Team to work closely with them and will be responsible for the accurate and timely input of pertinent data into a computerised information system, of all patients within that service area. This will underpin the goals of the service in monitoring outcomes through data collection, analysis and dissemination.
They will also be part of a wider data management team providing collaboration and support on shared projects and play a vital part in the Multidisciplinary Team Meetings.
The successful candidate works closely with the service team relating to day-to-day activities and reports to the Senior Data Manager for data management responsibilities.
