Job Description Description We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of our clients medical device data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities · Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
· Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, maintenance, and validation procedures.
· Security Management: Implement and maintain database security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
· Database Design: Lead the design and implementation of database schemas, structures, and queries to support business needs.
· Capacity Planning: Monitor database storage and usage, planning for future growth and scalability.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
· Backup and Recovery: Develop, implement, and manage database backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
· Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
· Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, OT & IT staff, manufacturing systems and other stakeholders to support database-related projects and initiatives.
Required Education · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional) are a must.
· At least 5 year experience of database administration in a regulatory environment.
Skills Technical Skills · Proficiency in database management tools and software.
· Strong knowledge of SQL and database query languages.
· Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
· Familiarity with database security practices and compliance requirements.
· Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
· Understanding of database design and data modelling principles.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience · Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on SQL Server, Oracle, and/or MySQL.
· Experience with database design principles, normalization techniques, and query optimization.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving experience to develop robust and feasible data models with ability to abstract and think analytically.
· Excellent understanding of data security concepts and best practices.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
