About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Dealer in the Davy Select division of Davy.
The Davy Select online investment platform enables investors to hold many different types of pension and personal investments in one place.
Davy Select offers online and telephone execution only services for direct clients and for clients of intermediary firms.
Davy Select aims to help clients meet their financial objectives by providing a large choice of competitively priced investments supported by excellent service.
In the role, the successful candidate will: Execute trades received from various channels (Phone/Post/Email/Secure Comms) and ensuring adherence to Best Execution Ensure clients are consistently provided with excellent dealing services Assist clients with Corporate Actions, Stock Set Ups and other queries Liaise with clients and intermediary brokers, dealing promptly and efficiently with queries Provide support to clients using our myDavy portal Participate in outstanding balance projects as required Assist in the organisation and running of client events; Be proactive in identifying existing and new execution only clients interested in and/or suitable for referral to other teams within the Davy Group; Participate in team projects as required Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role Willing to work Late shift (1pm-9pm) occasionally Requirements About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: Degree level in a Business related discipline; APA Savings and Investments qualification essential; A strong client focus to ensure effective service delivery; Demonstrable interest in investment; Proven team-working skills; Very strong communication and presentation skills; verbal and written; Excellent administration and IT skills, including a sound understanding of MS Office; An ability to prioritise high value-added tasks and meet tight deadlines; Desirable: Masters level in a Business-related discipline; Full QFA Qualification What we offer We offer a range of benefits and experiences to support your professional and personal growth, whatever your career stage.
