Deckhand (Bradan Mor)Ability to earn an annual bonus Additional allowances Are you a highly motivated individual looking to start or expand your aquaculture career?
We are currently looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual to make a difference at the Company's Net Washing vessel the Bradan Mor.
The vessel will provide a valuable net cleaning/washing service to the Company's seawater sites at Caol Mor.
The vessel will be predominantly based at our seawater sites in Caol Mor however will travel to other sites as and when required.
The varied role of Deckhand/ Farm Technician is challenging, but ultimately very rewarding and can lead to a variety of fulfilling career progression opportunities.

This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be required to work a 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off rotational basis.
Onsite accommodation also available if required.
About the job The role is a crucial part of the operations process and ensures that the best management of our salmon is undertaken.
We need our technicians to strive for continuous improvement and deliver on all aspects of farm work to keep the team on track and performing well.
The job includes, but is not limited to:
Net washing / cleaningVessel housekeeping and maintenanceInspection and maintenance of equipment and facilities around the farmMaintaining high biosecurity levelsGeneral farm tasks to keep the whole operation runningThe ideal candidate will have an interest in the aquaculture industry and be willing to learn.
They will be willing to expand their understanding and work hard on the job.
Minimum Requirements: STCW & RYA certification is requiredML5 or ENG1 Medical certificate is requiredExperience is desirable, but not essential as training will be providedFlexible approach to working to meet the demands of the jobA positive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to understand the aims of the site and to support the rest of the team to achieve theseRespect for the need for safe working practicesDrivers licence is essential.
