We are presently looking for a Deli Manager for one of our clients based in County Cork. You will come with a background in home cooking to lead our deli team. The ideal candidate will have a love for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the deli, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.Recruit, train, and supervise deli staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Ensure outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints promptly.Develop and update deli menus, incorporating home-cooked recipes and seasonal items.Ensure variety and quality to meet customer preferences and trends.Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure timely replenishment of products.Monitor waste and implement measures to reduce it.Conduct regular quality checks on food items and preparation processes.Support the implementation of sales strategies and promotions to boost deli sales.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience in a deli, kitchen, or similar environment, with a strong background in home cooking.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent customer service and communication abilities.Proficiency in inventory management and food safety standards.Creativity in menu development and food presentation.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.If you have the necessary experience and are interested in this position, please feel free to apply or send your CV directly to Liam at ****** or alternatively you can contact Liam on 064-662-2007 to discuss further.
