The Opportunity Deloitte is offering an excellent career opportunity for a Technology and Digital Risk Senior Consultant with a focus on IT Audit and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls.
In this role, you'll help clients design, implement, and evaluate IT controls to meet compliance requirements and reduce risk in complex IT environments.

Your Responsibilities As a Technology and Digital Risk Senior Consultant, you will: Conduct IT audits, including SOX IT general controls (ITGC) and application controls testing, as part of financial statement audits or internal audit engagements.
Evaluate IT processes, infrastructure, and applications for risks and recommend controls to mitigate them.
Provide advisory services on IT controls framework implementation, including SOX compliance and other IT governance requirements.
Assess technology environments, including cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP), for risks and develop strategies to address gaps in compliance or security.
Assist clients in documenting IT processes, risks, and controls for SOX and other regulatory compliance efforts.
Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT risk management initiatives.
Act as a liaison between IT and external auditors, facilitating requests and managing deliverables during audit engagements.
Stay current on emerging technologies (e.g., AI, robotic process automation, blockchain) and their associated risks and controls.
Develop and maintain IT governance documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver clear, actionable roadmaps to address findings and enhance IT control frameworks.
About You To succeed in this role, you should have: At least 3 years of experience in IT audit, SOX compliance, or IT risk advisory services.
Hands-on experience conducting SOX ITGC and application controls testing or advising clients on SOX compliance readiness.
Knowledge of IT risk frameworks and standards, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, or ITIL.
Experience with IT controls in both cloud and on-premise environments.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as SOX, ISAE 3402, or SOC 2 reporting.
Client-facing experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP (or a commitment to obtaining these).
