Role Description: We are looking for a Senior DeltaV Engineer to join our team, focusing on operational technology (OT) within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Athlone.
This role involves overseeing and optimizing the automation infrastructure, ensuring system security, and maintaining databases.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OT, cybersecurity, and database management, with a focus on compliance and system integration.
What you'll do: Design, develop, and maintain automation systems to support pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
Ensure all automation systems adhere to cGMP, GAMP, and other relevant regulatory standards, maintaining a secure and compliant operational environment.
Integrate automation systems with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and IT platforms, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across the enterprise.
Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect automation systems and infrastructure, conducting regular risk assessments and audits.
Oversee and maintain databases, including SQL Server and OSI PI, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
Manage change controls, conduct impact assessments, and investigate deviations, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including validation protocols and lifecycle reports, to support system development and compliance activities.
The Requirements: ?????? Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on automation infrastructure, OT, and cybersecurity within GMP environments.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with DeltaV, Emerson Syncade, and OSI PI.
Proficiency in SQL Server, cybersecurity practices, and visualization platforms.
In-depth understanding of cGMP, GAMP, and other regulatory standards related to automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex automation issues.
Proven experience supporting manufacturing operations, with the ability to manage change controls, assess impacts, and ensure compliance.
