Workplace Arrangement: About the role Here at Kerry, we are currently recruiting for a Demand Partner on a permanent, full-time basis in Naas, County Kildare (with hybrid working opportunities).
As Demand Planner, you will be responsible for generating a monthly forecast for a portfolio of products through statistical analysis, gathering market intelligence, and engaging with customers, the Commercial team, and demand planners in other regions. You will play a critical role in facilitating communication between the Commercial team, Finance, and the Supply Chain. The Demand Partner is also tasked with securing a demand consensus as part of the monthly process.
We are seeking a candidate who is process-driven and able to analyze data in detail, whilst also being able to interpret data into engaging presentations as part of regular meetings with senior stakeholders within the business.
What you'll be doing Create a consensus forecast to be used as part of the Kerry S&OP process. Manage the monthly cadence for the demand planning process. Generate and share reports required to provide insights and drive the demand planning process in Kerry. Champion demand planning ways of working - communicate with customers and sales teams, to drive improvements to the process. Communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure outputs of demand plan are taken into consideration. Support the enablement of development projects through to launch, and identify product delists, to minimize material risk and service failures. Provide support and suggest solutions where business targets are not being realized. Attend and contribute to Supply Chain Meetings as required. Train supply chain teams on demand planning best practices, use of forecasting accuracy/error measures to improve forecasting effectiveness. What you can bring to the role In Kerry, we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role, we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a Supply Chain or Demand Planning role.
These Include Supply Chain experience, ideally including a forecasting or sales and operations planning (S&OP) environment. Experience using Excel to manipulate and analyze data. Experience of SAP APO and Power BI is an advantage. Flexible approach - excellent leadership skills together with a strong team ethic. Fluent in English, highly numerate; first-class analytical skills including data manipulation. Bachelor's degree (BA, BSc) or equivalent is desirable. Strong data analysis skills and effective communication to get action plans in place. Ability to work in a complex environment and deal with ambiguity. Strong negotiation skills with an ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organization. Excellent self-management practices with a pro-active, energetic, and committed approach. Excellent presentation and report drafting skills. Ability to manage multiple streams of information optimally with attention to detail.
