Department Manager Builders Providers Our client, a well-estab lished Builders Providers in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking an experienced and motivated Department Manager to oversee operations within a key department with a strong background in the construction materials sector, exceptional leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Department Manager Provide leadership and direction to the team of c10 - 15 within the department Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Provide coaching and guidance to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Streamline department processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise stockouts.
Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Implement inventory management systems and procedures to enhance stock accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with the Internal Sales Team/Administrators to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements : Department Manager Experience in Department Supervisory, Team Lead or Management in Builders Provides/Merchants Supply Chain/Warehousing/Distribution.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with inventory management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
