Job Description:
The Accounting & Operations Department is responsible for a broad range of functions, including: fund accounting; operations; position, P&L and exposure reporting; valuation; risk management design and reporting; and liquidity management.
This individual will be responsible for the capturing, affirming, settling, and overseeing all derivative trading activity.
Responsibilities include: Manage daily OTC derivatives relationships with ISDA counterpartiesReview cash reconciliation daily, matching off payments and pre-confirming scheduled settlementsReview position reconciliation daily, matching off new trades and addressing any position breaksDaily review of position reconciliation for non DTC positions at prime broker and custodianIssue/agree to daily Variation and Initial Margin callsMonthly review and settlement of collateral interestMonthly obtain appropriate support pricing of CDS and other productsSupporting trading desk and wider teams with ad hoc queriesRequirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or the equivalent is required2-4 years of either a fund administration role - in the middle or back office of an asset manager, a fund services provider, or an investment bank industry experience across investment operationsStrong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to handle large data setsAttention to detail and ability to organize priorities, resolve issues, and escalate when appropriateMust be a self-starter and a quick learnerStrong analytical, interpersonal and communication skillsMust be highly motivated and able to work in a global team environmentAble to work well under pressureKing Street is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable adjustments to qualified candidates and employees pursuant to applicable law.
