In this role you will support our world class engineering, design and marketing teams by integrating Design for Sustainability into every stage of the product development process.

These are some of the winning behaviors you'll need for success at Logitech.In this role you will:Lead the Design for Sustainability strategy for new product introductions Integrate with different product development teams early in the design process to support decision making around environmental impact Unlock opportunities to reduce the carbon footprint of our products, advance our circular design considerations and advocate on social responsibilityDevelop Design for Sustainability guidelines to support product development activitiesDrive the research and adoption of lower carbon footprint materials, technologies and processesHelp to develop the tools and capabilities needed to measure the environmental impact of our products, for example, creating carbon impact insightsCarry out the technical analysis of various products to support the evolution of our carbon impact insightsEducate, enable and inspire those around you in your team and in other functions Your Skills For consideration you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:5 years (minimum) product development experienceBroad product development experience Particular focus on mechanical, materials and electronics designLiteracy in sustainability and lifecycle thinkingUnderstanding of sustainable design principles Experience in circular design strategiesExperience in LCA is a distinct advantageProject management skillsFluency in 3D CAD programmes, preferably Creo Passionate about sustainability and the role sustainable design can play within product development Excellent presentation and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a multi-disciplinary environmentLead and collaborate cross functional teamsSelf-starter with a curious, creative and proactive mindset EducationPreferred degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent.
Industrial experience in a relevant discipline will also be considered.
