Design Lead

Design Lead- Kilkenny, Ireland Competitive Salary + Excellent Package Our client, a leading contractor delivering large projects across Ireland, UK and Europe is seeking an innovative and experienced Design Lead in Kilkenny, Ireland.
As a Design Lead you will be responsible for leading a team of designers and engineers in developing solutions that meet the project requirements & industry standards.
As an ideal candidate, you have a strong background in architecture or engineering and remarkable expertise in construction methods.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements: * Manage and implement strategic plans and objectives for design projects following the organizational goals and market demands.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Design Managers and Project Managers to complete the designs and integrate all the requirements needed.
* Oversee the design development process from concept design to detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
* Ensure that the design solutions are innovative, functional, and cost-effective, meeting the project requirements & expectations.
* Establish and maintain quality control processes & procedures to ensure that the design meets the quality standards, codes & regulations.
* Oversee the project risks and issues and implement solutions to lessen/eliminate its effects on the projects.
* Manage relevant and accurate documents available for review or submission.
* Collaborate with supervisors/ team leaders to ensure target time is met & project details are accurate and efficient.
* Level 7 qualification in Architecture/ Architectural Technology/ engineering or related field.
* 5 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
* A qualification in BIM is beneficial.
* Proficiency in design softwares and tools such as Navisworks & Revit.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
