Design Verification Engineer - Principal Level
The company is seeking a talented Design Verification Engineer to join the dynamic team in either Cork or Dublin.
As a leader in the industry, the company specialises in DDR memory controllers for diverse markets including AI, edge computing, automotive, and data center applications.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IP verification, expertise in UVM, and a passion for quality processes.
ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and executing comprehensive verification test plans for DDR memory controllersCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful verification of IP coresAnalysing and debugging test failures and driving resolutions in a timely mannerContributing to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies to enhance efficiency and qualityDocumenting and communicating verification results and progress effectivelyQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldProven experience in IP verification, particularly in DDR memory controllersProficiency in UVM and verification methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesUnderstanding of quality processes and their application in the verification environmentDay-to-DayCollaborating with design and architecture teams to understand design specificationsDeveloping and executing verification plans to ensure functional correctness and performance targets are metReviewing and optimising verification environments and test benchesEngaging in continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practicesContributing to a positive and inclusive team culture by sharing knowledge and supporting colleaguesThis role will only consider candidates who are eligible to work in Europe and will relocate to Ireland if not already based there.
