Department Overview
Working directly with all areas of the Firm, the Technology Department plays a critical role in maintaining a seamless infrastructure and in developing proprietary solutions tailored to the Firm's investment activities and operations. In particular, the Development group is heavily involved in building custom tools for risk management, research, trading, cash and position reconciliation, pricing, P&L attribution, collateral management, fund accounting, and investor relations. The Infrastructure group is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the Firms network and server infrastructure and providing global support for our end users.
Job Description
This individual will be working closely with the Development team focusing on software design and development to solve problems and provide accurate, complex, scalable applications that contribute to the growth of the Firm.
Specific responsibilities include:
Develop innovative functionality in existing and new products across all business lines, as well as continued support and maintenance of the product suite.Involvement in the entire software development lifecycle to build and automate solutions, from requirements and design reviews through the implementation of a product.Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the Firm to understand and clarify requirements.Produce technical design documents and conduct technical walkthroughs.Respond to and resolve production issues.Play a key role as part of the development team to build high-quality, high-performance, scalable code, and share best practices effectively.Requirements 7-10+ years of software engineering experience within Financial Services.Strong .Net skills with proficiency in C#.Python experience, LLM and AI experience, and Cloud based experience are a strong plus.Understanding of programming algorithms and comfortable interacting with large sets of data.WPF/UI experience a plus.Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, multi-threading, publish/subscribe and event-driven programming models.Web development experience.Hardworking self-starter and a quick learner.Must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment.Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.King Street is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations to qualified candidates and employees pursuant to applicable law.
