To support and enable this transformation a significant and exciting opportunity has become available for an DevOps Engineer in our Enterprise IT Services department. You will be mentored by a team of experienced DevOps engineers who will help you to grow in ability to support, manage and enhance Ci/Cd and automation services that underpin the bank's digital transformation journey. Responsibilities: Support the existing CI/CD and Automation implementation while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance and grow the capability Support a collaborative and aligned roadmap with the application teams to progress the development of the DevOps capability for the organization with a common backlog Ensure a good understanding of the risk landscape across the in scope processes Proactively seek to minimize audit findings by implementing effective and permanent solutions while considering the wider implications of any findings Ensure that monthly reports and metrics are optimized, delivered on time with relevant updates and high accuracy. Maintain productive and collaborative relationships across Group Technology other teams . Requirements: Experience of Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus or similar toolsets Experience of Ansible Tower or a similar platform Possess a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles and SCM practices Experience of working with Kubernetes and containerization ? preferably OpenShift An understanding of DevOps methodologies including Infrastructure-As-code Experience in Linux and Windows System Administration Scripting capability in Groovy, Powershell or Python Have an inquisitive interest in computing and software development technologies A strong appreciation of `team? with the ability to work with colleagues across teams of different ability, culture and priority to deliver results as one Good problem-solving abilities A minimum of 5 years? experience in a similar role This is a Permanent role based in PTSB's Dublin or Cork offices.
