Devops Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dublin. In this key role, you will manage platform capabilities and processes, ensuring our systems are built for availability, reliability, scalability, and security.
Candidates must be based in Ireland and live within a commutable distance to Dublin. Minimum stamp 4 Visa. Key Responsibilities:Manage platform operations to maintain optimal performance and smooth functionality.Collaborate with the DevOps team to deliver platform changes, updates, and enhancements.Ensure the platform meets top-tier standards for availability, reliability, and security.Lead platform releases on a monthly basis, ensuring they are reliable, transparent, and secure.Drive continuous improvement in platform processes, capabilities, and tools.Establish and monitor key metrics to ensure platform health and optimal performance.Develop and maintain comprehensive platform documentation, policies, and procedures.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Maven, etc.) and DevOps practices.Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Engineering experience (5+ years), including knowledge of JVM tuning.Desirable Skills:Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native apps.Experience with API gateways & Service Mesh architectures.Knowledge of security audits, penetration tests, and certifications like ISO 27000 / PCI.Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence tools.#LI-JM2
