Our client, a prominent leader in the banking industry, is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their innovative Information Technology department. This is a permanent position based in their dynamic office headquarters.
Role and ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on premises and in the cloud.Collaborate closely with the software engineering team to deploy and operate systems.Help automate and streamline operations and processes.Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.Facilitate technology stack enhancements and upgrades.Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.Key Skills5+ years experience in a DevOps roleStrong understanding of cloud platforms - Ideally AzureExperience in CI/ CD and tools - Teamcity and/ or MavenKnowledge of JVM is a huge benefitKnowledge of Java and Java EE technologies is a bonus.Extensive experience in Jenkins is a mustEffective problem solving and communication skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary on offer - DOEExcellent pension planAnnual bonusPrivate medical insurance (incl dependants)Life AssuranceFlexible working - 1-2 days per week on site - Dublin City Centre.
