We're seeking a future team member for the role of Digital Assets Product Manager. This role is located in Dublin - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
As a member of the Digital Assets team, the primary focus and responsibilities will be to deliver high value products / solutions and advance the digital assets agenda across the enterprise – more specifically delivering digital asset capabilities. Main responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap to bring compelling digital asset capabilities to clients. Formulate and define scope and objectives for the product deliverables with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain. Lead the ideation, design and development of digital assets products focusing on scalability, security and compliance. Provide guidance on blockchain, DLT capabilities – available internally or in the marketplace – to determine best path forward factoring in feasibility, maturity of solutions, cost, time to market etc. Serve as Blockchain, DLT solutions expert to build digital asset servicing capabilities in partnership with business teams and technology. This includes designing and delivering pilots. Evaluate different Blockchain protocols / platforms to explore alternative solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to deliver blockchain based solutions. Maintain familiarity with industry best practices and seek opportunities to implement as appropriate. Resolve the most complex issues or inquiries from senior-level or key individuals at clients, as needed. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Advanced Degree in Math, Science / Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Vast experience of working in one or more of the following areas - structured finance, securitization, payments, collateral. Several years of experience developing products in blockchain/DLT and related technologies with strong understanding of token standards, and benefits of asset tokenization. Demonstrated deep technical understanding of leading blockchain protocols, strengths and gaps. Proven experience in product design and development with deep technical aptitude in developing new products. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, designers, and engineers. Experience working with fin-techs / start-ups in the blockchain / DLT space a plus Entrepreneurial and results oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to accomplish goals through others, including employees, peers, and other function/business areas of the company. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
