Join us as a Digital Data Scientist
This opportunity will suit an experienced data scientist with a strong academic background, adept at stakeholder management and an appetite for working with many disparate sources and types of data. You will join as a key member of the team with the opportunity to grow and develop your skills within a fast paced, exciting, data-rich environment.
Within the Analytics & Innovation team, we are passionate about driving insight and value from data. The team works across a spectrum of exploratory analysis, feature engineering, data engineering, event prediction, data driven segmentation, deep dive analyses and development of bespoke solutions to meet business needs.
We value innovation and creativity and this role presents a great opportunity for any analyst who has the capability to collaborate and identify business needs, approach a business problem in an innovative way, identify and build a great solution, and the ability to communicate the outputs of that work across the business.
What it involves: Create and work with large digital datasets to extract value and insightsUse statistical and data science techniques to explore data and identify patterns and trendsProcess, join and analyse data sources to create features which feed into analytical and machine learning pipelinesBuild predictive models and data science solutionsCollaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insightsConduct deep dive analyses and make recommendations to help with business decision-makingCreate dashboards to visualise insights for stakeholdersResearch and implement new techniques in data science/web analytics to make analytical solutions more impactfulThe skills we're looking for: Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer ScienceSolid understanding of statistics, machine learning and data science principlesExperience in processing, analysing and extracting value from large datasets containing both structured and unstructured dataProven experience in Python and SQLExperience working with web analytics data (Adobe/Google Analytics) is desirableFamiliarity with reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)Excellent communication and stakeholder & project management skillsAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAttention to detail and collaborative mindsetDigital (Google or Adobe) experience desirable but not essential.Other Self-motivated individual with desire to be the bestAttention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbalInnovative and results drivenTeam-oriented, collaborative approach & attitudeWell organised, process oriented, with ability to prioritiseStrong MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) skillsResults based approachBenefits of Working at Three Flexible working with our new Hybrid model, our employees will enjoy more flexibility working from home and our office locations (2/3 days per week office based).
